Our mission is clear: to provide robust computing support to Medical Physics, drive pioneering research, and offer unwavering assistance to RSNFT. With a rich portfolio including 50+ deployed applications and databases, numerous external collaborations, and active participation in 25+ research projects, we stand as a key collaborator with national bodies, engaging in ongoing AI initiatives. Central to our work is the development of sophisticated database applications for managing diverse data types—from clinical outcomes to quality control data and anonymized medical images. Our team, hailing from varied backgrounds such as physics, computer sciences, and bioinformatics, shares a passion for applied computing in healthcare. Traineeship and Mentorship
Traineeship and Mentorship are core aspects of our ethos. We welcome medical physics industrial placement students nationwide and offer an annual Scientific computing Course for STP trainees. This course provides comprehensive computing skills tailored for healthcare professionals, with a focus on Medical Physics and related fields. Attendees gain practical, department-relevant skills.
